With the following privacy policy, Animal Technology Systems AG (hereinafter "we", "us" or "ATS") informs you about the processing of personal data in connection with your visit to this website. We process personal data in compliance with Swiss data protection law, in particular the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and its implementing ordinance (revFADP-O). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) additionally applies, we also comply with its requirements.

When you visit this website, the following categories of personal data are processed:

• Technical access data (server log files): IP address in shortened or full form, date and time of access, URL requested, referrer, browser and operating-system identifiers, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred.
• Content and contact data, to the extent you provide them to us, in particular by e-mail to info at ats.ag: name, e-mail address, message content and any further information you provide voluntarily.

We process personal data for the following purposes:

• provision, operation and security of the website (e.g. abuse prevention, error diagnosis, aggregated usage statistics);

We retain personal data for as long as required for the relevant processing purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. Server log files are generally deleted or anonymised after a few weeks, unless security-relevant incidents justify a longer retention.

10. Cookies and tracking

This website currently uses no tracking cookies and no external analytics or marketing services. Only technically necessary information is processed (e.g. server log files, see section 2). Should web analytics or embedded third-party content be added in the future, a cookie notice with a consent option will be added beforehand and this policy will be updated accordingly.

If you contact us by e-mail, your details (e-mail address, name, message content) will be stored by us to process the enquiry and to answer any follow-up questions. We do not pass on these data without your consent.
